At Grove Community Church we believe that Biblical Counseling is church based, Christ centered, Scripture driven, and prayer dependent. We desire to help those who are struggling and suffering with various life issues and give them hope and help through the Gospel and the entirety of God's Word.

Chapin Jones

Chapin and Mandy have been married since 2017 and have three kids, Tate, Hadley, and Mila. They met at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC, and have lived in Woodruff, SC, and now, Selinsgrove, PA. Mandy is a work-at-home mother, where she faithfully serves the family and the ministry. In 2018, Chapin began serving as a Youth Pastor at Selma Baptist Church in Woodruff, SC, and in 2019 began a Church Planting internship through the partnership of Winfield Baptist and Sunbury City Church in central PA. Chapin has earned a B.A. in Christian Studies at North Greenville University.

Jim Benner

Jim and Candace are long-time residents of the Selinsgrove area and are so excited to be a part of the body of Jesus that gathers at Grove Community. Jim spent most of his work life as a high school math teacher. He always asks that no one holds that against him. Candace was nursing the injured and hurt well before she received her first nursing license. Jim and Candace have three adult children and one furry dependent Maverick.

Justin Hoffman

Justin Hoffman and his wife Mandy have been married since 2002. They have three adult children (two daughters and one son), two son-in-laws, and are excited newcomers to the “grandparent club”. Justin and Mandy met at Practical Bible College where Justin received his B.A. of Pastoral Ministries. Over the years Justin has served on staff at two churches, but currently works full-time as a Sales Manager for a local company. He and Mandy (who is a certified Biblical Counselor) are passionate about soul care and helping people find hope and help in the glorious gospel. In their free moments you can find them drinking coffee while sitting around their campfire chatting with family or friends.
